I first heard of these guys a few months ago and loved them! I figured I’d send them an email to see if their name was just random and if they’d ever heard of the gay bear fellas and if so, did they have any bears in the band. Ed, the lead singer and songwriter (second from the left in the picture), wrote back and said that they didn’t have any bears in the band but they really got a kick out of Bears Gone Wild and they would totally love to share some pics and music with you guys. I’ve been listening to their first album (Horn of Plenty) a ton lately and really dig it. They’ve got a new album out now, You can download a track on their web site. Dear Bears Gone Wild

Erik, (your leader?) emailed us awhile back saying how he liked the tunes, but was disappointed we didn’t have any bears in the band. I’m here to tell you, give us time! While I myselfam the only gay in the band, the rest are all of a questionable nature, wink wink, and our drummer Chris Bear, really has the makings for a hot, great bear. Which is why, post tour after a shitload of beer, he has now been deemed a “cub” (see pictures below)

Anyhow, the site looks amazing. Sure wish we could do some white water rafting. We once played a Bear bar in San Francisco called the Eagle and it was so awesome. Everyone that worked there were totally sweet and they went merch mad and got all our tshirts which funded the gas for the trip down to LA, so needless to say we have fond memories.

Anyhow, Erik requested some songs, so for sure we’ll toss 3 free ones your way from the first album and the subsequent, largely fag remix album.

I hope you all enjoy them and we are just waiting for an invitation to one of parties/retreats, y’hear?

Serious Press Shot

Here is Owen from Final Fantasy, who did a remix for us, getting a good whiff
of Chris Bear’s belly.

Here’s chris bear (real last name!) and Dan (obscured by Bottle) with two Danish bears, obviously going a bit wild. They too bought our tshirts.

This shot was taken in Oklahoma by our friend Benjy, we saw that sign and immediately pulled off the road.
